Chris Humphreys is a British actor, playwright and novelist. Born in Toronto, Ontario as the grandson of actor Cecil Humphreys, he was raised in Los Angeles until the age of seven and then grew up in the United Kingdom. For acting he is best known for his role in ''The Bill'' where he played PC Richard Turnham from 1989 to 1990. He has also been in ''A.D.'', ''Zorro'', ''Coronation Street'', ''Hawkeye'', ''Dangerfield'', ''Highlander: The Series'', ''Goodnight Sweetheart'', ''Wycliffe'', ''Silent Witness'', and ''The Core''. He publishes historical adventure novels and young adult fantasy novels under the name C.C. Humphreys.
